The service at the Cock of Tupsley is first rate from the welcome at the door to the service at the table and to the farewell's at the end of the evening. The food is hot and always of a good pub standard and promptly served. Staff are attentive and very helpful and well managed. The offers are always welcome making Thursday 'steak night' an affordable treat. However, the decor is starting to look tired and worn and the carpark is seriously and annoyingly pot-holed which detracts for the whole, and otherwise enjoyable experience.

After a 4 hour drive from London we were blown out by the Rose and Crown (not a regular so the 4 of you have to sit on a table for 2) we made our way to the Cock at Tupsley. Great welcome, excellent food and a good table where we could catch up with the family. Thank you guys for saving our evening.my daughter will be back.

Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. The menu, although offering Christmas dishes, still had a good balance of other choices. Although there were quite a number of customers there still appeared to be generous spacing of tables, and so did not appear crowded and the noise level was muted enabling conversations to take place without having to shout to make onesself heard. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Lovely experience at the cock. Meg sat us at a larger table so we had more room for the baby. She made sure we were all happy at every opportunity. Delicious food and great service. Will be back. Thanks

Great Service, staff were very friendly and helpful, namely Joe and Adam who served us all night. Food was delicious and really nicely portioned. Definitely recommend!

We reserved a table for 12 and when we arrived, we found everything in good order. The waiter was a perfect gentleman and very efficient. He got all of the orders perfect and the food was prepared quite fast. He then checked back several times to see how we were doing. Very efficient and polite service. We will all be back in the future. We have never been disappointed in the service and quality of food.

Very clean premises, friendly and helpful staff, we were seated and had drinks in front of us within minutes. Kim was our waitress, and did an excellent job despite being busy with several other tables simultaneously. Our food was lovely, hot and tasty, honestly have nothing bad to say!

visited the pub today and had the loveliest waitress ever, meg was so polite and friendly and i wouldn’t want anyone else as my server, she had a huge smile on her face whenever we saw her and she is a ray of sunshine, the food was delicious and i will definitely be back again due to meg’s service and how welcoming she made me feel. 10/10 for meg

Called in for food....2 staff on and reasonably busy...seated promptly. Ordered gammon and a mixed grill, turned out they had no mixed grill but was offered a 8oz steak and gammon instead, really nice....the manager really pleasant and chatty but not overpowering, gave us 30% off bill as they had an offer on main meals....
